Frequently asked questions – what you really want to know
Do you share my data with anyone else?
Answer: NO! 🙂
What do you do with security camera recordings?
Short answer: usually nothing. The purpose of recording is to protect the property of Users and Nordic Mini Storages and to preserve evidence of security incidents, so that it is possible to identify who damaged something, committed theft or caused other property damage. At your initiative, i.e. if you call us and ask for help or guidance, we may open the live security camera view to monitor you – so that we can guide you faster and better.
Longer answer: We use a so-called black box solution. This means that as a rule, recordings are automatically deleted after 1 month without anyone viewing them. If a security incident has occurred, meaning something has been damaged, broken or stolen, the relevant section is located in the recordings and that specific section (evidence) is preserved until the incident is resolved and the property damage is compensated.
If you call us and ask for immediate help or guidance, we may suggest opening the live security camera view during the guidance. The purpose is to guide you faster and better.
If you are an employee of Nordic Mini Storages, a service provider or work for a service provider of Nordic Mini Storages, we may use security camera recordings to verify whether the ordered work has actually been completed and to assess the quality of the work performed. Nordic Mini Storages operate via remote management.
Who specifically can see my data?
All of your data can be seen by one of the founders of Nordic Mini Storages, Peeter Pärtel. In addition, our virtual assistant Anna-Liisa has access to almost everything so that she can quickly assist you when needed (for example, she can see which emails have been sent to you and resend them). The accountant sees the information that appears on sales invoices, but the invoices themselves reach accounting automatically, meaning there is no time to review anything beyond what is necessary to match a small number of manually made transfers with invoices.
I have more questions. Where should I write?
You will receive a faster response if you write to klienditugi@nordicministorages.ee

Processing of personal data related to security cameras
The purposes of using security cameras are: 1) to provide customer support with a live image if the User is on the property and requests telephone assistance and the use of the security camera image speeds this up; 2) the main purpose of recording is to protect the property of Users and Nordic Mini Storages and to preserve evidence of security incidents so that it is possible to identify who damaged something, committed theft or caused other property damage; 3) to verify whether employees or service providers have actually completed the ordered work and to assess the quality. If an incident has occurred, the relevant section is located in the recordings and that specific section (evidence) is preserved until the incident is resolved and the property damage is compensated.
Security camera recordings are kept confidential and are not disclosed to third parties, except where the person wishing to review the recording has a legitimate interest or where disclosure is mandatory under legislation or necessary for contract performance (for example in the event of an insurance case).
